Step into a moment of quiet rebellion with this rare collaboration between MOOMIN Arabia and conceptual artist ODEE, created exclusively for the Bergen Kunsthall Project.

This collectible mug features a unique Moomin-style portrait of ODEE standing in a serene valley landscape — sun shining, river flowing, expression… complicated. A subtle nod to resistance wrapped in charming Nordic minimalism.

Produced by Arabia Finland, renowned for its timeless ceramic craftsmanship, this mug continues the legacy of past Moomin’s Day editions: small-batch releases that become instant collector’s items. Each piece is a symbol of reflection, artistic autonomy, and that unmistakable Moomin sense of quiet strength in the face of change.

Quantum Theory (2025) explored the impossibility of objective truth within institutional systems. These mugs were introduced as both exhibition ephemera and performance tools — gifted, sold, and distributed by the artist during the show, blending art object and commodity, critique and merch.

A relic from the master’s exhibition Quantum Theory, this enamel mug is more than a vessel — it is an artifact of institutional critique, a humorous provocation, and a functional sculpture.

One side features the Bergen Kunsthell insignia accompanied by a fiery character radiating absurdity and resistance — a recurring figure in ODEE’s performative universe. The reverse side bears the distorted, reimagined logo of the University of Bergen Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD), intentionally warped as a playful subversion of bureaucratic branding and artistic labor under institutional constraints.

Each mug is hand-altered by ODEE, making every piece unique.
